I've been a Prior Lake Community Member Since 1975 and have been serving on your City Council since 2017.
If elected mayor I believe I would be the first sitting mayor of Prior Lake with children active in our school district. That's a good thing. Creating more connectivity between our city government and our school district will be beneficial.
Why 53 with such young kids? I didn't marry until I was 45. We now have a 6, 4 and 2 year old.

Our oldest, Finn, is in 1st grade at Westwood Elementary. The same school I attended in 1976 and my wife Laura attended in 1990! If elected mayor I'd have all three at Westwood by the end of my first term.
Laura and I both grew up in Prior Lake and attended K-12 in our school district. I graduated in 1989 and she in 2003.
We have chosen to raise our family here. And both of our extended families are still in Prior Lake. It's a community of great people, schools, recreation, and businesses that are - and will continue to - make up this beautiful place we call home.
I represent an an opportunity to have a Mayor of Prior Lake with a family active in our school district, youth sports, and extracurriculars, and one who brings a lifetime of local knowledge and is driven to succeed. My skill set is far beyond anyone else in the race and is what the community needs to bring Prior Lake forward.
