Updated: Sep 14, 2020

September 11, 2020 Jackson Township, Louisville Township, Scott County, MN
I was honored to represent the Highway 169 Corridor Coalition as Chair and be a part of the ribbon cutting for this innovative new diverging diamond intersection in Scott County.

The $72 million project was two years in the making and achieves the coalitions objectives along the 169 corridor:
Identify and develop intersection improvements that address safety, mobility, freight, accessibility, and connectivity needs while minimizing impacts to residents, businesses, and natural resources.

Goals of this project included the following:
An inclusive public participation process
Safety and mobility serving the area for the long-term
A connected frontage road system to serve local residences and businesses
Improvements that are consistent with local, regional, and state plans and standards

This project was funded by the Scott County Transportation Sales Tax, a Federal TIGR Grant and MnDOT.
